The Zionist “Letter” Trick: Parallels between Charlie Kirk and Dr. Martin Luther King
An important parallel in the tragic histories of Charlie Kirk and Dr. Martin Luther King is how both were fraudulently pushed into the pro-Zionism camp AFTER their deaths using “letters” claimed to be written by them.
It has now been uncovered by Candace Owens how Israel-firsters tried to create a Zionist legacy for Charlie Kirk even though he specifically announced he was leaving “the pro-Israel cause.” Yet, Netanyahu (very selectively) quoted from a letter he said proved Kirk was a staunch ally of Israel.
Dr. King’s legacy was manipulated in the very same way. A 500-word letter appeared after his death that was purportedly written by him titled “Letter to an Anti-Zionist Friend,” in which Dr. King allegedly declared, “Let my words echo in the depths of your soul: When people criticize Zionism, they mean Jews—make no mistake about it.”
But the letter is a hoax, a forgery, pushed and promoted by cynical Zionists seeking to stem the flow of Black youth toward support for the Palestinian cause. Before the forgery was exposed it was used by prominent Zionists:
• Ariel Sharon used the hoax MLK letter before the Knesset on January 26, 2005;
• It was cited by the Anti-Defamation League in testimony during the 2001 hearing on the U.N. World Conference Against Racism;
• Natan Sharansky and Mortimer Zuckerman quoted from the hoax letter;
• Rabbi Marc Schneier published portions of it in his book Shared Dreams: Martin Luther King Jr. and the Jewish Community.
