Glenn Beck: The Fusion of Lies and Racism
by Bro. Jackie Muhammad and Bro. Tingba Muhammad
“Each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor…” —Ephesians 4:25
A series of charges have been made recently against the Nation of Islam and its leader The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan by the organization bearing the name of entertainer Glenn Beck.
Mr. Beck describes this company’s daily web productions as “The Fusion of Entertainment and Enlightenment.” The audience of 9 million weekly listeners can be described as politically right wing, Republican, anti-Obama, and overwhelmingly Caucasian. His radio show is broadcast by more than 400 stations, through which he addresses Tea Party issues and blends “political commentary” with a brand of shtick that has come to be known as info-tainment.
The broadcasts of the so-called GBTV, LLC, (Glenn Beck Television) are devoid of input from qualified scholars and scientists who might legitimately address the serious realities facing the United States; it instead provides content that is often mired with heavy doses of racial paranoia, foul stereotypes, and blatant appeals to the worst fears of the American people. And though Blacks are just 12.5 percent of the American population, they proliferate in the GBTV domain, most often posed as enemies of American society. Our Black President is targeted most often, but at a level such that a recent email to Beck’s followers arrived with the heading “This really happened: Obama ate a dog.”
Beck is quoted as saying: “This president…has a deep-seated hatred for white people….This guy is, I believe, a racist.” He has said essentially the same of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the Reverend Al Sharpton, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, and Minister Louis Farrakhan. The civil rights leader Reverend Jesse Jackson was referred to as “the stinking king of the race lords.” When President Barack Obama spoke of his 11-year-old daughter Malia’s concern about the BP oil spill, she was targeted by Beck, who mocked the child’s voice, commenting derisively, “That’s the level of their education, that they’re coming to.”
An entry on GBTV’s Blaze website speculated that Trayvon Martin, the Black child murdered by George Zimmerman, may have been suspended from school for any number of reasons including “armed robbery,” “arson,” “kidnapping” or “sexual battery”—this libel having no purpose other than to dishonor the boy’s reputation and justify his execution. Mr. Beck listed the only three reasons a Mexican would come to the United States: “One, they’re terrorists; two, they’re escaping the law; or three, they’re hungry. They can’t make a living in their own dirtbag country.” When he interviewed the first Muslim congressman Keith Ellison, he said, “[W]hat I feel like saying is, Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies.”
The discourse is so extreme that the recent Center for American Progress (CAP) study “Fear, Inc.: The Roots of the Islamophobia Network in America” classed Mr. Beck as part of “a small, tightly networked group of misinformation experts” formed for the purpose of the “spreading of hate and misinformation,” which is “sustained by funding from a clutch of key foundations.” They write that this “industry of ‘hate radio’” includes Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Sean Hannity and others and is funded in large part by contributions from Donors Capital Fund chaired by Jewish conservative Adam Meyerson, a key member of ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council ), the organization driving the so-called Stand Your Ground laws that emboldened murderer George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin case.
According to the CAP study, Beck “conjures fears equating Muslims with terrorists” and has speculated on his radio show that ten percent of American Muslims (that is, 180,000 U.S. citizens) might be “terrorists.” According to a Beck show “expert,” the “Antichrist” will be a Muslim and Islam will be Satan’s “primary vehicle” to usher in the End Times.
The $21 million funding from Meyerson’s pro-Israel network helps explain why Beck’s anti-Black extremism has been matched in intensity by an overbearing sycophancy for Israel and Zionism. Beck is a Mormon, a religion that has a racial history that is very similar to that of Israel’s Talmudic Judaism. Mormonism teaches that Blacks are innately inferior to whites, and it was not until 1978 that the Mormon Church conceded that Blacks possess enough intelligence to hold positions of leadership. It is a doctrine that is almost identical to that found in the Jewish Talmud, which teaches that all of the world’s Black people are cursed by God Himself to forever be the inferior slaves of white people. The Mormons, though, have not adopted the anti-Jesus elements of the Talmud, which teaches that the Christian Messiah should be boiled in excrement (Gittin 56b, 57a).
The Assassination of Malcolm X & Murder Inc.
Therefore when two Meyerson-funded agents, Glenn Beck and the Jewish Islamophobe Erick Stakelbeck, joined forces to “expose” The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, their religious dogma was fully consistent with their misinformation mission. The goal of the broadcasts was to criminalize The Minister and the Nation of Islam, and toward this purpose Stakelbeck claimed, “these guys are violent and they will crack skulls and kill people…”
This absurd pronouncement was made just days after Atlanta Jewish Times owner and fellow Jew Andrew Adler opined in print that the Israeli Mossad should murder President Barack Obama; and only a few weeks since Israeli assassins dynamited innocent civilians in Iran—the latest provocation in a string of foreign assassinations that are so numerous they have their own Wikipedia page. Yet, to illustrate what they call the Nation of Islam’s “violence,” Beck and Stakelbeck had to reach back 47 years to 1965—when they claimed the NOI killed another “black muslim,” Malcolm X. Charging the NOI with the tragic shooting for which the FBI COINTELPRO agents are mostly likely culpable is accompanied by not a single stitch of evidence. Minister Farrakhan has demanded—over a period of decades—that the FBI open up the Malcolm X assassination files, but it is a demand that neither Beck nor Stakelbeck would endorse. Why?
It is noteworthy that the FBI’s own archives document the U.S. government’s elaborate plotting against the Nation of Islam and Malcolm X, who at the time of his murder was considered the “number 1 anti-Semite” by Jewish leaders. It is also of interest that the assassination occurred in a building owned by a Jewish synagogue in New York—a city that has a dark history of Jewish assassinations. New York City is the home base of the infamous Murder Incorporated, a murderous gang of professional assassins headed by Jewish businessmen and Zionists Benjamin Siegel and Meyer Lansky. Scholars estimate that they murdered 1,000 mostly Gentile people at $5,000 per hit. In charging the Nation of Islam with a crime it did not commit, both Beck and Stakelbeck ignore this well-documented Jewish-American bloodbath. Certainly, at 1,000 murders in America, Murder Inc.’s Jewish leaders best fit Stakelbeck’s description: “these guys are violent and they will crack skulls and kill people…”
Mr. Beck further charged that in his recent sold-out speaking tour of the Black colleges in the South Minister Farrakhan had “threatened” the life of President Obama. This is simply a lie. The Minister’s clearly stated objective is to save the President’s life: On February 26, 2012, The Minister publicly detailed the atmosphere of negativity being engineered that targets the President and his family, and he subsequently issued a 12-page public report on the issue, titled “President Barack Obama: Evil Spoken Of.” (Download at noirg.org) Glenn Beck’s own website announced the NOI publication on April 19th: “FARRAKHAN & NATION OF ISLAM RELEASE E-BOOK CONDEMNING EXTREME LANGUAGE THAT IS ENDANGERING THE OBAMAS…” It is unlikely that one could find anything more OPPOSITE to a death threat than The Minister’s words of 26 February 2012 at the Chicago United Center:
“Brothers and Sisters…it’s our duty to protect the President. So when you’re at the job, listen to what people are saying. If you work in the boardroom, listen to what people are saying. Act like ‘The Spook That Sat by the Door’ and make mental notes, because they can’t do what they’re doing without talking about it [in] some way. So you that are in the police department, listen; you that belong to the FBI, CIA, ATF, sheriff’s department, listen! Keep your ear to the ground, and if you hear something that does not sound right, we’ve got to report it, because it is our duty to try and save the life of the man regardless of whether we agree with him or not—he’s our brother, and [Michele Obama] is our sister, and those children are our daughters.”
Beck, again consistent with his Meyerson-funded assignment, hyped The Minister’s remarkable speech at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff as “the scariest Farrakhan audio yet.” Thousands attended but none recalled anything “scary,” and the students watched with evident approval as The Minister was honored with proclamations awarded by government officials. The mayor of Pine Bluff Arkansas declared it MIN. LOUIS FARRAKHAN DAY. Even the local KATV news station (owned and operated by proud and patriotic American white people) covered the event like this: “Controversial religious figure Louis Farrakhan spoke before a packed crowd…promoting the need for African-American independence and a reduction in violence.”
The Beck/Nugent Nexus
At that very same moment The Minister was promoting a message of “reduction in violence” and protection of the President, one of Beck’s closest associates was offering America a radically different kind of message. “Gun rights” advocate Ted Nugent, a featured spokesperson at the National Rifle Association convention, said: “If Barack Obama is elected, I’ll either be dead or in jail this time next year,” suggesting his own violent intentions toward the American President. He further compared President Obama and his colleagues to coyotes that needed to be shot, and he cajoled his all-white followers to “ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November.” Nugent warned that they should “get everybody in your lives to clean house in this vile, evil, America-hating administration.” Glenn Beck did not characterize this language as “scary,” but the United States Secret Service concluded through standards outlined in their manual “Protective Intelligence and Threat Assessment Investigations” that Ted Nugent warranted immediate investigation.
Nugent’s very first stop after becoming a real national security threat was to appear on Glenn Beck’s broadcast, where he was given full access to the national airwaves. Further, any cursory review of Nugent’s history shows a series of violent ravings and other bizarre behaviors. According to Rolling Stone magazine, when Mr. Obama was a candidate in 2007, Nugent “went on a vicious onstage rant in which he threatened the lives of Democratic presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Decked out in full-on camouflage hunting gear, Nugent wielded two machine guns while raging, “‘Obama, he’s a piece of s**t. I told him to s**k on my machine gun. Hey Hillary,’ he continued. ‘You might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless b***h.’” There is more: Nugent, a vociferous advocate of 4th Amendment rights of gun ownership, was a Vietnam War draft dodger. By his own detailed account in a 1977 interview, he soiled his own trousers for a week in order to avoid the draft. His description of his war-avoidance behavior is so foul it cannot be repeated here.
Despite this ghastly record (including his admission of pedophilia), Nugent has appeared regularly on Glenn Beck’s many shows and performs at his Fox News/Tea Party “family values” political rallies. Nor did any of this documented history seem to trouble Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, who actively sought and achieved Nugent’s endorsement, saying, “It’s been fun getting to know Ted Nugent.”
The insidious fear-mongering against The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam by the scheming Beck, Stakelbeck, and Meyerson has summarily backfired, and has only served to expose the core and depths of Satan’s wicked world. And exposing Satan’s schemes only heightens our understanding of the bold scripture in Matthew 21:42-44, which concludes:
“And he who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust.”
