Top Talmud Scholar Reviews Saviours’ Day 2024

This past weekend [of Feb. 25, 2024] we attended the “Saviours’ Day” convention of the Nation of Islam in Detroit. The highlight was the oration on Sunday by 90-year-old Minister Louis Farrakhan titled “What Does Allah, The Great Mahdi And The Great Messiah Have To Say About The War In The Middle East?” Minister Farrakhan spoke for three and one half hours (!) and ran rings around both Biden and Trump in terms of lucidity, cognitive acuity, wit and most important of all, his appeal for peace for Jews and Palestinians through the dismissal of the administration of Binyamin Netanyahu and the current crew of genocidal Israeli cabinet members. Quoting from the Book of Daniel, the minister stated that bloody Netanyahu was synonymous with Nebudchadnezzar —pronouncing upon Netanyahu the words, “MENE TEKEL” — “your days are numbered; you have been weighed in the balance and found wanting” (Daniel 5: 24-27).
He spoke in depth about the massacre in Gaza, again from a Biblical point of view, and was passionate concerning it, particularly with regard to those who shrug their shoulders and dismiss or ignore it as business as usual. You had to have been present in order to absorb the essential impact of the force of his personality and his heartfelt agony over what is transpiring in occupied Palestine.
Arab-Americans from nearby Dearborn were in the capacity audience of 14,000, as well as city and county officials and executives. Electronic billboards announced the event throughout Detroit. It was held at the prestigious Huntington Place convention center.
Minister Farrakhan also provided his audience with a welcome excursus on the Federal Reserve’s privatization of the money supply and the role of predatory banking in the decline of America. (The Nation of Islam is a self-help organization training its members in economic independence).
Prior to Sunday, I attended a young people’s workshop at the convention on the necessity of avoiding fornication and maintaining a chaste life before marriage, which was chaired by a panel of delightful young men and women who spoke with real dignity and conviction. The modest, self-respecting attire of the thousands in attendance at the convention were a witness to the purity of their intention and its practical implementation.
Another workshop featured the Nation’s “Exoneration Project,” in which several men innocent of the crimes for which they were convicted, had been railroaded to prison based on perjured testimony and then exonerated decades later. These men discussed this grave injustice. One had been falsely imprisoned for nineteen years; the lady who waited faithfully for him all throughout his imprisonment was also present. It was an honor to make their acquaintance.
Another speaker and victim of our injustice system had been sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. He was exonerated after 37 years behind bars. Miraculously, he and the other men (there were approximately eight present), have not allowed bitterness or resentment to consume them. They expressed no hatred. They have established outreach programs for the prevention of perjured testimony and to rescue other innocents from their fate.
At this workshop I had the opportunity to address the audience and the panel, arguing in favor of lobbying for passage of laws founded on the Bible’s view of perjury, as recorded in Deuteronomy 19: 16 and 19:
“If a false witness testifies against another person and accuses him of a crime…and if the witness should prove to be false and to have given false testimony against the accused, you must do to him what he had intended to do to the accused.”
In other words, if I falsely accuse you of murder in a court of law, the life sentence I attempted to have imposed on you will be imposed on me. Obviously, such a law would radically reduce perjury and the destructive proliferation of jailhouse snitch testimony in convicting the innocent.
The Nation of Islam is suing the ADL and the Simon Wiesenthal Center for $4.8 billion for defamation and violations of constitutional rights as a result of relentless attacks on Nation members, and Louis Farrakhan in particular, branding them “anti-Semites.” On Saturday I attended a plenary session on the lawsuit led by the lawyers and legal scholars who are working on the case as it makes its way through the court system. There were many excellent presentations. One of the best was offered by Michael Muhammad concerning the relationship the ADL enjoys with government organizations, to the extent that under “Color of Law” the ADL actually forms a part of the government, disguised as an NGO. I hope Mr. Michael Muhammad’s speech will be made available to the public.
I emphasize “the public” because, despite the false impression of the Nation of Islam conveyed by their enemies, citing the U.S. Constitution, Minister Farrakhan launched the suit for the defense of all thinkers and activists of any ethnicity or color who are at risk of being canceled or bankrupted by the false charge of anti-Semitism. Quoting from the lawsuit, “…While Elijah Muhammad’s Mission started with the Black man and woman of America, that Mission has expanded through Minister Farrakhan to the whole of humanity” (emphasis supplied).
You can read the Nation’s lawsuit online; it’s an outstanding compilation of heretofore obscure facts concerning ADL’s appalling history of totalitarian thought control and censorship.

Excellent article. Michael Hoffman is extremely observant and empathetic to the pain of Black people in America. He loves Minister Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam and Truth. I’ve read two of his books which I found quite helpful in understanding the mindset of those who follow the Talmud and are instrumental in causing such pain to Black people in particular and the world in general.
All praises due to Allah. I was in attendance at this remarkable panel discussion. Very informative. My nation have brilliant minds.
I love This Bearing of Witness!
