Interview With Sis. Ava Muhammad
Interview with members of the Nation of Islam Research Group
Minister Dr. Ava Muhammad, the Official National Spokesperson for the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam as well as a member of the Nation of Islam’s Executive Council, departed this life on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Minister Dr. Ava Muhammad was a staunch defender of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Teachings of The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. An attorney by profession, Minister Dr. Ava Muhammad is the first Muslim woman in modern history to occupy a position of authority over a mosque anywhere in the world. She completed this interview in 2012.
Sis. Ava Muhammad: The response to this question takes into account the root causes and those behind the condition of Black America. The demonstration of relevancy includes the chronology of events from 1983 to date, with particular emphasis on the thwarted efforts of Minister Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam.
In addition to those points, there’s the propaganda assault in New York wherein the Jews attempted to derail the October 7, 1985, Saviours’ Day event (POWER AT LAST FOREVER), introducing the Clean n’ Fresh product line. This was to be the first major move toward economic self-sufficiency since the rebuilding of the Nation of Islam began. Every major news outlet in America carried the protests against Minister Farrakhan’s appearance at Madison Square Garden. The volume of libel and slander against him was stunning; so much so, I later prepared a large scrapbook of news clippings for him so he could see the whirlwind he had withstood.
Equally significant was the Minister’s appearance in Los Angeles in September 1985 (below). At a staff meeting in Chicago, he told those of us on the laboring staff that he was going to confront the Jews at that meeting and it was essential we all be present. It was there that he proclaimed that the Black man and woman are the Chosen People of God. This, arguably, is a major catalyst basis for the vehement reaction in New York one month later. While they keep the “gutter religion” lie in the public eye, they do not appear to desire a public debate over this declaration.

The fact is, Minister Farrakhan—more than any leader, Black or white, past or present—has demonstrated the courage and the ability to reveal the true nature of the relationship between Blacks and Jews and that relationship is the singular greatest impediment to our independence.
Our people must recognize that this unnatural relationship is at the root of the extreme and persistent poverty in more than 25% of the Black population in America. Another 25% is barely above that level—they experience food insecurity, inadequate health care and education, and homelessness on a regular basis. The level of control exerted by the Jewish-controlled banking industry over the economic life of the Black community is an active system of oppression that instantly and permanently silences any voice that would free us from this modern form of servitude. It is so effective, we have only one voice left: Minister Farrakhan. Because he is a divinely guided man, the Minister forces people to confront observable reality.
What the research team has done is build a bridge between this light-giving sun and our poor people, who have such a damaged perception of reality they need some vision repair. Reasoning supports Revelation, and the Minister’s researchers give data that help the brain rebuild its lost ability to reason.
That first headline, “MALCOLM X WIDOW PINS MURDER ON FARRAKHAN,” was the beginning of an effort not only to turn the Black community against the Nation in a way that would defeat the March, it was hoped it would bring about the assassination of the Minister, or create a climate in which he could be assassinated and the blame easily placed upon one or more of our own people.
This case was the first major head-to-head confrontation with the enemies of our liberation (wherein we took the fight into their flagship arena) since the Minister began the rebuilding of the Nation of Islam. Our research shows 1994 was also the year of yet another exceedingly wicked and dangerous effort to stop the Minister: the ADL memo “Mainstreaming Anti-Semitism: The Legitimation of Louis Farrakhan.” This is crucial to the discussion. And if that were not enough, in 1995 we have the Qubilah Shabazz episode.
Sis. Ava Muhammad: We constantly monitor the current laws and how they can be manipulated by the enemies of our rise.
