The Terrorist Mind of Ariel Sharon:

On August 13, 1982, Israeli F-16 pilots were ordered by Ariel Sharon to destroy the 18 floors of the Aker building in Beirut. Sharon thought that President Arafat and the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) leadership were having a meeting in the basement of the building (a skyscraper in Middle Eastern terms). The F-16s turned the 18-story building into rubble. 485 men, women, and children were killed.

Arafat and the PLO leadership were not there. In fact, they had never even been there. The building was inhabited by Christian Palestinians…
