The Crisis in America’s Cities” was written by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in August, 1967. It has never been published, and any reader will see why. It represents an evolution of his thinking on issues that are uncomfortable to those whites who financed and controlled the civil rights movement.
