FBI “Suicide Letter” to Martin Luther King
A massive surveillance operation on Martin Luther King was approved by U.S. attorney general Robert F. Kennedy, and FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover led the destructive process that ultimately led to Dr. King’s murder in Memphis on April 4, 1968.
