ADL REPORT OF DEC 1, 1964 TO ANTI-DEFAMATION LEAGUE B’NAI B’RITH
In this 1964, 26-page report, the ADL described “an increasing tendency toward extremism in both white and Negro communities,” adding that “police forces and other law enforcement agencies have an increasingly crucial role these days in maintaining peaceful and harmonious relations in the community.” The report states that the ADL had at that time provided trainings for “more than 130 top police executives from 31 states.”
